Golf Conditioning:
- Maximize shoulder turn
- Optimize strength related to rotational swing
What is Golf Conditioning?
Golf conditioning is intended to help a golfer perform better on the course by evaluating the biomechanics, flexibility, and strength of the golfer in relation to the physical movements of the body during the swing.
The golf swing is a complex movement. The body undergoes several physiological changes beginning with the initial stance and progressing through the swing and follow through. Repetitive postures and movements in a typical 18 hole round of golf can put stress on virtually all joints of the body but particularly on the feet, knees, hips, low-back, mid-back, shoulders and neck.
A team of rehabilitation professionals consisting of licensed physical therapists, certified athletics trainers, and licensed Continuum Wellness Clinic instructors have developed Continuum Wellness Clinic's golf program with an emphasis on injury prevention as well as improved playing ability and is intended to maximize the total health and well being of the client.
